Question about PreSonus INSPIRE 1394 External Sound System
Hi, I have a Computer that does not have Fire-Wire Ports so I purchased a Hub that could provide both USB and F/Wire Ports and connected the S/Card to it. However, when installing the Driver there's a point where the system searches for the device and it does not continue, assumably because it is not finding it. Is it a problem to run this connection through a hub instead of direct connection to the computer.
I have window 2000xp computer, Due to any problem I have formetted my Window. But I dont have original window CD beside this neither i have registration No of Computer nor any other information. therefore, facing sound problem, My computer have become deaf and dull

The hub is most likely the problem.
A lot of hardware doesn't like to be used with a hub (webcams, ipods, etc)
My best advice is use a PCI firewire card.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
