Question about Hitachi 50EX20B 50" Rear Projection Television
I have a 50" "Old School" Rear Projection Hitachi TV from 1997. A friend advised that you can clean these from the inside to clear out cobwebs or any dust build-up. The manual doesn't explain how to get inside the cabinet and hoped you guys might know? The back panel has a lot of screws that appear can be removed, but on the front around the screen - can't tell if I pulled hard enough that the front would come off so I could get inside.
Thanks in advance for your help, Kevin
I have a hitachi 50ex20b and you can take off the front speaker cover and go in that way. There is a wood panel that has 5 screws on it and it comes right off. I go in that way to vacuum mine.
