Question about Sony Ericsson K800i Cellular Phone
I purchased from new a Sony Ericsson k800i in England. It was on Vodafone and its a tri-band phone. I live in Bendorm, Spain and I have had the phone unlocked, I know use a Vodafone ES chip.
I sent myself a MMS with a bit of text and it worked!!! A friend sent me an MMS, whos on the same spanish network Vodafone ES and it worked. But when I try to send them back home to Orange mobiles it doesn't work, and the same when they send me one, it tells me to look at the orange website to check the pic that has been sent, you know as if I had a bog standard phone.
Please can anybody give their advice?
Ask Vodaphone ES if "intercariier MMS" works. Some cariers today still do not allow MMS messaging to leave their network (in order to message someone on another network).
If Vodaphone claims that sending an MMS to an Orange customer is possible, go to the nearest store and ask for a demo... I have seen reps say "it works", when it does not.... when that is the case, the carrier (Vodaphone in this case) does not like to advertise their limitation.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
