SONY HCD-GX555 Recently I had some electrical work done at home and my Sony system has failed to operate. The I/O switch just blinks continuously. Is it a fuse? Any ideas. I've turned the system on and off, allowed the system-unplugged-and plugged it back, checked to see that the correct current, 120, is being fed to the system. Is this a problem I can go to my Radio Shack

Change the audio amplifier IC are on short circuit and that´s the cause your device goes to protect mode
