Question about PC Desktops

I HAVE A U2 CRUZER MICRO 2GB that I just recently purchased a couple of days ago. I installed a password and it worked fine. Now it fails to auto initialize, and it does not accept the password. How do I fix this problem

Hmmm..that's a little weird...can you boot to the main screen? you may have a small issue with the boot sequence. Can you boot from a CD with no problem? Sounds like an operating system error.

    so, you're computer works fine, but can't see the U2 device? have you tried all your USB ports? There is a small chance that the device may be compromised, by ESD(electrostatic discharge) comes from handling it sometimes.

Does your neighbor know that you are using his connection?
if not, maybe he changed his password, and you cannot use it anymore, so do ask neighbor first if anything changed ;)

check the drive on other PC which has as updated virus protector, if it works then clean it from there or re-format it. then use it on your computer, be sure you must have a virus protector on your computer.

otherwise your drive gone bad.

This is a common problem with some thumb drives as they can confuse the bios.It is good practice to remove flash drives before you shut your box down unless they are for Ready Boost and reinsert them after your O.S finishes loading when you restart.There have been issues with data loss on some of these drives when left in during boot up.

check if the flash is recognized by our system if not reinstal the usb driver all 6 of them.
