Question about HP Officejet J5780 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP Officejet J5780 All-in-One

Labels do not print WYSIWYG. The vertical alignment shrinks progressively with the text on each line "moving" progressively towards the top of each label so that the last line of labels is outside the label print area.

Your printing program needs a template, based on the label makers specs. That's usually what causes that, not the printer itself.

HP Officejet J5780 all in one Alignment problem cartridge will still not align after I've gone through the alignment routine. Cartridges are genuine HP and fairly new

Usually the yellow is the culprit. Dab the cartridge on a paper towel and see if all colors make a spot or line. if any color is missing it will not pass alignment, and you need a new cartridge.

Printer has started to misalign text, moving up past labels

Verify your paper settings match between the printer and PC. If a roller is dirty the paper might feed late.
