Question about Philips Magnavox 27MS343S 27" TV

Magnavox 15 inch lcd hdtv

I just purchased a refurbished 15 inch lcd and it came without power cord, manual or remote..I'm not really tech savvy..what cord should i get? Where do I connect it?..also..will any universal remote work with the set?

The typical power cord is usually the same kind that is plugged into your monitor right in front of you. Buy another one of those. A universal remote should work (not promising anything)

Philips magnavox won't turn off and stay in demontration mode


Hold both volume buttons at the same time for 6-10 seconds and that will reverse it. This has been proven to work!!!! YEAH

REMOTE DOES NOT WORK ON SYLVANIA TV


It sounds more like a problem with the TV, than the remotes. It's possible that the IR reciever or microprocessor for it have pooped out. It's something that would have to be serviced by a shop, but due to the age and size it would likely be cheaper to replace the whole TV.

Magnavox universal remote for sanyo tv


ok...got this nice sanyo ds19310 from brother without remote..have a magnavox universal remote but don't have code for tv or if i can use magnavox codes or can i set remote to it another way...thanks for any help i can get! megnavox tv code is Press following key combination 0>6>2>5>9>6>MENU to select item press cursor(up)and (down) to change item value press cursor(right)and (left) cancellation of service mode press POWER button on the set regards thanks
