Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
That's most likely a bricked PSP.
Unlike the previous answer, there is another way of doing it.
It's slightly complicated, but with a good technical knowledge, it can be done easily.
Purchase or find a Pandora's Battery. On Amazon, they are known as Datel Tool Batteries. I wouldn't recommend making your own, as it's dangerous. They only cost about £14.
Then search on Google or QJ Downloads for Total Newbi Pandora Installer.
With that, find its name, search it in Google and there is a tutorial explaining it all.
It gives good instructions already on the program itself anyway.
It does format your memory stick though. But either way, when the first bit is finished, move on to Universal Unbricker (Number 4 in the chart of 5 options.).
Then let it do its work, then when it's finished, take out the memory stick, insert it in the PSP with a Pandora's Battery in the PSP aswell. (It may need a PSP Charger in to but I'm not sure.) Then, not only will you get your PSP unbricked, you'll have Custom Firmware too.
On the program, if it asks Are You Sure? anywhere, it helps to say Yes (Or type Y) as it needs to get through it all.
