How to return it to his original cursor?

I'm assuming you are using windows here so if not please inform:

go to start > control panel (maybe start > settings > control panel)

in control panel click 'printers and other hardware' then click 'mouse' (may just be under 'mouse' depending on view)

in mouse properties window click on the 'pointers' tab at the top

you can either select 'windows default' from the scheme drop-down box to change all pointer back to default, or you can find the pointer you want to change under the 'customize', highlight it, and select 'use default' to change an individual pointer back to default.

click 'ok' when you are finished making changes.

My cursor has turned into an icon that looks like a padlock, reducing maneuverability. Do you know how to get the regular cursor back? Thank you.

Hi, go to the "Control Panel," from the start menu, click to open, select in the Hardware & Sound category; "Mouse, next you can change the "Pointer" appearance, how "Fast or Slow..." the mouse pointer moves. "Rating the solution is appreciated, thanks."

Have you tried going into the control panel - mouse - pointer options - motion speed (slower) and experiment with pointer precision check box? Try it, see what that gets ya.

MS Wireless IntelliMouse 2.0 pointer direction reversed (up/down)

Go into the control panel and click on the mouse icon and see if you can change to settings back to normal.

If not then check under your start menu and see if the intellimouse software is installed there and go into it to change the settings from there.

Mouse left click problem

it is possible you changed the scheme for your mouse pointers.

you can reset it back to the windows default by going to "control panel", then if you are using the catagory view, you would select "printers and other hardware" Next, select "mouse".

( if using classic view, simpy select "mouse" from the control panel).

Next, while on the "mouse" screen, select the "pointers" tab. At the top, there is a drop down menu for " Scheme". Choose either None, or Windows Default, and then click "apply" and then "ok".

Close out all control panel boxes and test.

Good Luck :)
