Hold down the "Sleep/Wake" button at the top of the phone. After a few seconds a notice saying "Slide to power off" will appear.

    • 2

    • 3
Hold down the "Home" button. This is the square button on the iPhone under the screen. After about ten seconds a yellow triangle and a notice saying "Please Connect to iTunes" will appear.

    • 4
Plug the iPhone into the computer on which are running iTunes. You must have an iPhone or iPod USB cable, because the side that is inserted into the iPhone is unique to Apple.

    • 5
Open iTunes. If you do not have iTunes, you can download the latest version from the Apple website.

    • 6
Click "OK" when iTunes shows you a message saying "iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode."

    • 7
Click "Restore" on the window that appears, and then let the restoration process run and complete. This is the "Summary" tab for the iPhone. You can go back to this window at any time to restore the phone. The icon for it is located on the left-hand side of iTunes.

God bless you

My iphone is hanged. i cannot turn off the iphone. i can see only the apple sign

To do an emergency restart of the iphone, press and hold down both the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time.

If your iphone still hangs when starting and will not be recognized in iTunes then follow these steps:

Make sure the device is off before attempting this!
  1. Press and hold down the Home button for about 10 seconds until a yellow triangle with a text which says Please Connect to iTunes appears.
  2. Plug the iPhone into Mac or Windows PC. Release the button if you haven’t.
  3. Run and open iTunes if it’s not already opened yet.
  4. iTunes will prompt a message that says iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
  5. You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
  6. Wait for the full restoration process to complete, and the iPhone will be back to the original settings state as when it left the manufacturing factory, typically a working phone again if you face any problem, unless it’s hardware related.

My iphone has froze up and the screen is black. I can not do anything with my phone.

Good news, it's more than likely fixable...

Bad news, you will more than likely lose your saved pics, music, etc. if you do it this way (I did), they may be recoverable if you take it to a repairer or send it to apple, I didn't bother inquiring, I needed my phone fixed a.s.a.p :-)

Disconnect your iPhone from your computer.

Press and hold the sleep/wake and home buttons simultaneously for about 20-30 seconds, until you see a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in the middle accompanied by the text "Please Connect to iTunes."

3. Connect your iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes if it does not automatically launch.

You should see a message "Itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode"

After this you can restore your iPhone by clicking the Restore button under the Summary tab and when it is finished you should be up and running again

Disable your internet security while trying to connect. Enable it after you have finished doing whatever you needed to do with itunes. You may also be able to include itunes and the itunes store in the websites acceptable to your internet security software.

My iphone is blocked and only i see on the screen the pineaple pi

I recommend restoring the old non-hacked firmware. To do this, you will need to put it in Recovery Mode, and then iTunes will ask to restore it.

1. Verify you have iTunes 7.5 or later. Apple recommends using the latest version of iTunes.
2. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone or iPod touch.
3. Power off the device (Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the the iPhone or iPod touch to turn off.
4. Press and hold the Home button while reconnecting USB cable. When you reconnect USB, the device should then power on.
*Note: If you see the message "Charging... Please Wait" or you see the screen pictured below, let the device charge for at least 10 minutes to ensure the battery has some charge and then start with step 2 again.
5. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.
6.When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message.
*If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, then disconnect the USB cable from iPhone and repeat steps 3-6.
7. Click OK, and restore device.
