Try hitting the parrot reset on the back of the unit. Small hole that you can insert a paperclip into reset the unit.

When switched ignition off looses memory. parrot 3100.

The perm and ignition live are the wrong way round, change the wires around at the fuses, it should go red to red and orange to orange at the moment, change it to red to orange and orange to red, Should then say goodbye on the screen when you turn off the ignition.

A Parrot mini kit slim. I can turn it on. Don't know how to turn it off. Is it necessary to do so?

If it's a Minikit Slim, did you try to reset it ? To do so :
1. Press simultaneously the jog wheel and the Reset button located at the back of the Parrot MINIKIT Slim / Chic.2. Release the Reset button.
> You can now release the jog wheel.

Important information for those of you who have this problem (the kit freezes and buttons don't work anymore, even the reset).
Thisproblem may appear when the battery level is too low.Parrot has fixedthe problem now, below is the procedure to follow for those who stillhave this problem :
1- Leave the Minikit slim in charge for ~30min
2- The reset becomes functional :
- Press the rotator button,
-Press the reset hole, keeping the rotator pressed ( on the back, with apaper clip ), and then release the reset button first.
- Release the rotator
The Minikit slim should be functional...
3- Make an update with the version 1.06 ( install the PSUT http://www.parrot.com/uk/support/downloads...)
/!Attention : people who have the problem and already have version 1.06need to update again (changes have been made on version 1.06 )

I hope this helps and good luck.

Parrot minikit

Most probaly, yes. I don't have an iphone to either confirm or deny it, but, I can see no reason at all why they would refuse to pair to each other. To do it, press and hold both the red and the rotary buttons for some 3 seconds, until the indicator light flashes alternately in red and green. It is in pairing mode now, thus visible for other devices, for the next 3 minutes. Then, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a little while, your car kit should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '1234'. If the pairing process is successful, the car kit should sound a beep. By the way, if your car kit's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location. You will find many details about settings for your car kit there.

Please, let me know if I can help you any further. Regards, Carlos
