Question about Panasonic KX-FL511 Plain Paper Laser Fax
these kind of problem occurs normally in paper printing machines due to faulty rollers / damaged or worn out rollers...
Check with correct spares for the rollers...
Also look for any rust on the feed rods and moving parts at paper entry area...
Really ur curiosity must be appreciated, bcos most people will settle with the rectification of the problem and don't dig further...Keep digging

The problem may be in the busing or the shaft that actually holds the gear in place. try turning it by hand, and also try turning it with a little bit of pressure. Check the shafts and especially the base of the gears where they are mounted. Sometimes those gears will wear down at tht point from constant pressure and rotation, causing the gears to slip during operation.

Perhaps the problem is in the drum unit
try to isolate the problem with another drum unit.
