As you discovered any 'deleted' file can be recovered with the correct software.
The only sure way is to destroy the drive

Sometimes, passwordprotection is just a software-issue. In such case you can consider to hook this harddisk to another computer, to see if this protection is still active.
If it is, than it might some software located at your external harddisk. If it does, it's good to verify if it is loaded by a .ini-file.
Windows, for example is default set to check for new hardware, and if it is a harddisk, to explore it in the background. If there's an ini-file in the root, it'll read this file, which might link to a program to activate (located at your harddisk). If you're able to remove this file, you've overcome this protection.
For this, you need to go to "start" and then enter the following command : "cmd" or "command" (without the " ").
NOTE : I don't know which type of Windows you use. Some Windows-versions expect cmd, some command.
If you succeeded, a window will pop-up, with black text. Then go to the specific drive. If your drive is known as D-drive, enter "D:"
Than enter "dir autorun.ini" .
If you see this file is present, then delete this file by :
"delete d:\autorun.ini".
If succeeded type "exit"
Finally, reboot your PC and see if your protection is gone.

How do I permentally delete avery wizard 3.1 ? It still appears after removing it from add/remove in control panel.

Click on start search, put the name of the program in the search for files and folders with an '*' asteric at the end. This will search for any file or folder using a wild card, so all will show up. Delete all the files and folders found in the search.
So, in other words, search for files and folders, put '*avery wizard*' (without the single quote marks) in your search for box and delete the files that are found.

I hope that this was helpful. If so, please leave a positive rating.

Thank You,

Brian

How can RECOVERY

Best way, remove and connect your Harddisk, to USB external and find the files, delete the files except recovery just look at the files and read all of them in folder. You will understand which one is recovery and your original Dell files. Then make scan and check error while you are there.
Connected to your computer, But Please read first If you are not sure do not do anything, It is your own risk so doing wrong.
It is easy to recover without deleting original files by just deleting last programs that you have installed. So Delete the programs that you do not need. Goodluck

Recycler folder

The recycler folder is a system file, it is created automatically as a place holder for files you send to the recycle bin. As far as I am aware, the only way to stop it being created is to turn of the recycle bin for each drive you have.......Doing this has the effect of permently deleting files though......

Non ntfs problem

One possible work around
Provided you have access to another PC and feel comfortable with taking your hard drive out of your PC and putting it back in

1. buy a USB external hard drive enclosure and install your hard drive into it
2. connect this USB hard drive to another PC
3. create some free space by deleting some files (see Safe files to delete below for details)
4. reinstall hard drive back into your PC and try to boot normally

Safe files to delete
1. temporary files - on Win XP these are normally in "C:\WINDOWS\Temp"
2. temporary internet files - on Win XP these are normally in "C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Username]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files"
3. other temporary files - on Win XP these are normally in "C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Username]\Local Settings\Temp"
Note that if you have more than one user account on the PC, then each user could have files that are safe to delete in the folders mentioned in number 2 and 3

Delete permaent

Delete - will simply remove reference to the file- thus making the space available - this can be reversed.
To remove filed permanently from a hard drive the whole drive need to be overwritten then formatted-
Even here a determined individual with the correct software will still be able prise out old data.
The only sure way is to destroy the drive.
