you are using a long cord but this should not effect it.... try unplugging the cable you are not using from the projector and just have the one cable going from laptop straight to the projector... hope this was useful...

Display has a green tint to it tho it looks fine on the laptop.

A tinted image (whether green or another color) is almost always a symptom of a bad or damaged cable - or a loose cable connection. In your case, you'll likely need a new M1 to VGA cable (Part# SP-DVI-A-R).

Assuming that you've made sure that the cable connections are solid at both ends, there is a simple test to verify that this is a cable issue and not a costly projector issue. While the image is tinted green, open the menu. If the menu colors appear fine while the rest of the image is still tinted green it's the cable.

Have you check your cable? Are you using the component(RGB) to vga cable? Your vga to vga cable may be defective.

Projector signal goes bad after 25 minutes

It appears the projector was over heating. Why it affected the DVD signal and not the computer signal, I do not know. The other confusing thing was the projector was hanging off the ceiling and should have had plenty of circulation. When I climbed up to check for excessive dust, I found that the lens cap had been placed over the intake vent. I blew off the dust and removed the cap. After running the projector for an hour, it appears that the problem has been solved.

Black and white projection

Hi there

First try another cable from the PC to the Projector.

The VGA / RGB Cable used from your PC to the Projector has a couple of very thin copper wires on the inside and they easily get damaged.

If this doesn't help then you should try another PC.

If that works then you'll know that it is the PC's card that is faulty.

If it doesn't work you'll have to get the Mainboard repaired or replaced , because the inputs on the Projector lies within the Mainboard.

Must warn you that a Mainboard replacement is a bit on the expensive side.

does your projector detect on ur machine !. your machine recoganize it or not !. ensure the vga cable is ok.if everything is ok then if you can open the projector then check the power unit inside and the voltages applied to the processing unit. this is sometimes due to low voltage or power supply problem.the lamp and controller unit are different from each other. there must be a switiching problem inside. if you can open it then well n gud otherwise u have to take it to the service centre......
