Question about Cell Phones
I bought this product. I can't figure out what direction to put the sim card and the battery. The pictures are not clear in the owners manual. This is really frustrating. I really want to use the phone. I could have the card in turned over the wrong way or upside down. Help! I have never done this before. The product is a motorola go phone c168i.
I hope I have the card in right. The phone is working now. I asked my husband which way he thought the battery went. He must have been right. It is a shame that something that simple isn't explained any better. It was very frustrating and took a lot of useless time to figure out something that should have been clear in the first place. This was my first experience at putting a card and battery in a phone. I knew nothing about it. The directions weren't written for that type of person.
Here is the solution: First turn the card where the smooth side is showing (like the back of a credit card) Place the card in the slots, push it up as far as it will go. Now the card is installed. Place the battery metal against metal, slide the battery in the small groves. When properly installed the battery will lay flat lay over the card. If battery does not fit in the space turn it over and try again. It might be upside down. The back plate will fit perfectly over the case if the battery is installed right.
