I have a paper jam in my canon pixma MP830.  The jammed paper was fed from the rear and I cannot find anyway to get to it.  I have pulled the back drawers open and looked at the base - nothing.  I can just see the paper by looking from the front down low but cannot find anyway to reach it.

    can anybody help?

Having the same problem with paper jam in MP830 but can't see any paper to unjam either back opening, underneath when lifting top or front cassette where the paper was fed. Paper was photo 4X6 fed landscape instead of the correct way of portrait. Can I take it apart and where? It is not under warranty.

Have a paper jam behind the rear door on a MP830. I Have been able to pull some of it out, but only in pieces and most is still in there...

Any easy way to disassemble and get to it?

Please don't respond unless you actually know...

Sorry, last time I posted asking for help I received reponses from people that didn't really know zip ....

    Thanks LC

Most likely you want to open the back feed drawer/flap thingy and pull the paper out from there. . . . very easy to open.. . assuming you're using the mp830

Hp4200 duplexer paper jam

If it jams every time, remove the duplexer and look for a piece of paper on the metal plate as the paper feeds out of the duplexer and back into the machine. Also use a file folder to push any jammed paper out from inside the duplex module.

Says paper jammed i pulled out still says paper jamed

When you removed the paper did it tear or it came out in one piece.
If not there will be a small piece of paper left inside and this needs to be removed.

It says my printer has a paper jam but i dont see no paper jamed and i refill it and it says say thing like it would let it go like its going to print then says jamed paper

Try and see if you can locate a small piece of paper that might be causing your printer to jam. Turn the rollers and see if you can see any small pieces of paper stuck in between the rollers.

Paper jamed

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Perform the steps below in order to solve this incidence:
  1. Disconnect the power cord or power supply adaptor from the rear of the HP All-in-One product.
  2. Remove the paper pack remaining in the input tray.
WARNING - Do not try to remove the jammed paper sheet yet. Trying to clear a paper jam from the front of the device can damage the print mechanism. Always clear paper jams through the rear access door.
  1. Open the rear access door or the two-sided printing accessory.
  2. Gently pull the jammed paper sheet out of the rollers.
  3. If the paper tore when it was being removed from the rollers, check the rollers and wheels for torn pieces of paper that might remain inside the device. If not all the pieces of paper are removed from the device, paper jams are likely to occur again later.
  4. Replace the rear access door or the two-sided printing accessory.
  5. Restart the printer to continue the current job.

Paper jam

Remove the paper following the procedure below.
(1) Load a single sheet of the same paper in the Auto Sheet Feeder in portrait orientation.
Do not load it in the landscape orientation.
(2) Turn off the machine.
(3) Turn on the machine.
The paper is fed and then pushes out the jammed paper as it ejects.
If you cannot remove the jammed paper or the paper jam error continues after removing the paper, contact your Canon Service representative.

Panasonic FP-7750 will not feed paper through machine correctly

Look where you remove the last jamed piece of paper closest to the fixing unit. Dose it jame when you make one copy? If it dose jam in the same place, I would have to say the problem is in the fixing unit. Look, in the unit for any pieces of paer jamed and remove them. Also, is it only happen with one paper tray and not the other. If so make sure you haze the tray and paper are set correctly.... Really need some more info.

If the paper jam occured behind the toner cartridge, did someone pull it out and leave a piece behind the toner? Look to see if there is a small piece of paper jamed in the connector of the toner / developing unit. Also look for any small piece of paper in the paper path.
