How do I remove the lid to my fryer?

  • If your fryer has a hinged lid, to remove lid, depress the OPEN LID button and lift the lid to a vertical position. Remove by pulling the lid upwards. Reverse the sequence to secure the lid back into position.

How can i clean my Tefal maxi fry deep fat fryer

Hi there, the best way I have found to clean a deep fryer is to empty it of the oil and fill it up with 1/3 water and detergent, turn it on but dont close the lid, or if you do close the lid carefully monitor it otherwise it will spill over and let the water boil after about 10mins turn it off and wipe away the ****, empty the water out fill it again with just water, same again for 10mins, empty it and wipe it clean with a cloth

CiaccHow do I take the filter out to clean in the T-fal Acti Fry

Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly
The instruction booklet is here:
http://www.tefal.com/NR/rdonlyres/562534DB-5412-43E6-96A4-579959830D9C/11378/TEF_Actifry_5083775UKi.pdf

See figure 3 of the instruction booklet.

I understand why you posed your question. The instructions are about as clear as mud and there are NO specifics as to how to actually remove it in the booklet. Pull the tab toward you until it is vertical then lift it out.

Welbilt DF 4050

That should be covered in the user manual, there is very little information available on this product, not even a user manual so its hard to confirm this.

Details:
Non-stick pot. Adjustable Thermostat. Interlocking folding handle. Permanent mesh filter. Convenient pour spout. Removable lid. Easy-view window.

at this time Im unable to give you a solid answer. Remove the lid and try gently. If you have the copy of the user manual, which I was unable to get my hands on, check it out.

Sorry for not having a solid answer.

How do I clean this sucker???

I know its 2 months late but here goes. At the link above look at 1 and 5, the bowl/fryer pan on the cf154 model can not be removed. So it has to be washed like any other non-imersable cooker, wipe it out with paper towels and put a little soapy water in the pan and scrub it out then dump the water out and rinse the same way, never imerse the intire unit in water. dry with clean paper towels.

the basket and lid can be washed in a dishwasher, IF you remove the filters from the lid.

Outside should be cleaned with damp soapy sponge (no scratchy pads) and rinsed the same way and wiped dry, be sure to get into the tight corners around the pans lip and other places oil will collect over time.

All fryers of this type are going to get grungy over time no matter how well you clean it due to the fact it can not be taken apart and cleaned so oil is going to build up in places you can not get too.

Cleaning

From http://www.rivalproducts.com/help.aspx?helpNav=1: How can I clean my fryer? - Unplug from outlet and allow unit to cool. Always turn control to OFF then disconnect plug from wall outlet BEFORE disconnecting BREAK-AWAY CORD. - Clean the outside of the fryer and lid with a damp cloth. CAUTION: Do not use abrasive pads or alcohol to clean the fryer. - Remove basket handle, if one is included. Frying basket can be washed in hot soapy water. - Rinse and towel dry carefully. - Pour out oil and discard properly. - Wipe the inside with paper towels to absorb excess grease. Wash interior of fryer with hot soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. CAUTION: Never immerse the fryer in water or wash in running water. If you own a fryer with a removable bowl or other removable parts, refer to the Owner?s Guide for your specific fryer to determine which parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
