that means your inner screen is damage and you need to get a new one.

go to security settings and reset the phone u could have a virus in your phone

we you are having the warranty same them in detail what had happend sometimes they may replace one for you

Does it have an after market plastic cover? If so they sometimes touch one part of the screen making it non responsive. On a day it does work try recalibrating the screen.

reset the phone to factory settings or bring it to a verizon store and they will look at the problem and get u a new phone for free

There is nothing you can do about this. You will have to open the phone and use it like that. You can still make calls usinf the numbers near the top and then close the phone to talk or have it on speaker in the open form, but the screen will never display anything anymore.

The latest version of the firmware solved a couple touch screen issues. (v11) take it into version to get it checked out.

Hi! I bought the phone yesterday, and as far as I can see, this "unlock" refers to the touch pad. When you press "yes" you should be able to to do things in the menu while the slide of the phone is closed. It locks itself again in a few secs (I think 5) so you have to unlock it again if you were idle for more than 5 secs. And I guess that could be personalized, to lock itself again in 10 secs or whatever. And if you want to use the menu without clicking all the time, try to do things with the open slide. Hope this helps.
