Try removing all the cartridges from the printer then turning off the printer and unplug from the electrical outlet for 10 - 15 seconds. Plug the printer back in and then reinstall all the cartridges. turn the printer back on.
1. Enter your printer model
2. On the following page under "Search the KnowledgeBase" enter the text "error 1203"
3. From the results select "Troubleshooting a 1203 Error Message on the Lexmark X5450/X5470"
4. Follow the directions there and see if it solves your issue.
