Go into the menu and access the auto program feature. It should lock in all the channels you can get from your antenna source.

Cant change channels?

What is your antenna source? Cable or antenna? Try keying in a certain channel on your remote. see if you get that channel. Tv will not auto program if you do not have channel source coming in to antenna input.

Can't get two screen option off tv

Problem is now resolved! We found that Radio Shack has a preprogrammed remote for just twenty one dollars. The man that sold it to us showed us which features on the remote fix the problem. He was right (love Radio Shack because they are so helpful!). It is a Universal HDTV PRO Remote Cat. no. 15-135 (on the back). We had bought a different universal remote, but the man said that we needed this one, and he was right.

Do you mean frequencies above channel 30? Otherwise perhaps the set cannot store more than 30 channels? More info required to be certain.

as no sound on certain channels it means no problem in your tv though it is old. the problem is in transmission line from where you get prog. it can be adjudted manually by vol.control if low sound is there at certain channels. you can also reset once.
