I was typing a document, leaned over the keyboard and (perhaps hit some keys) - don't know, but the wheelwriter moves, the tape cartridge moves, but there is nothing hitting the center key to push it into the page......
help - I need to type out a document on this asap!

Characters stopped printing...ribbon is fine

WizThe print solenoid has the plastic cap on the end broken or desintagrated. i fix this all the time. also make sure you didnt turn on the lang feature. that will keep your carrier in one spot for certain foreign symbols. to clear it hold down the features key next to the space bar and hit the lang key with the features key depressed.
