- My mp3 player is the Memorex Digital Mp3 player MMP8561. It won't charge anymore. My computer doesn't even recognize it. It's been plugged in for about 3 weeks. I even took it apart today if there was even a battery inside. I got it for my birthday like in April and it did that for two months and then I fixed and now it won't work. - lipgloss9000Mar 10, 2008
- Unit turns on, but is stuck on welcome screen. Won't shut off. Have to remove the battery. Plug into USB, and PC recogonizes as drive.Is there a reset hole, or series of button pushes to reset, or hardware reset through USB?

- My problem is the same except it started freezing so i'd let the battery die then recharge and it would be ok, but now it wont even recharge, or respond when i connect it to the computer. sometimes 'battery empty please charge' appears then it freezes again.its a Sony NW-A1000- carlycharlie

my problem is similar to the last person but mine's dosn't turn on at all..if i attach the USB cable to it and to the computer som lines come on accross the screen and that's it..that all.. there's nothing else it could do...whats ur advice?
