My problem is the same except it started freezing so i'd let the battery die then recharge and it would be ok, but now it wont even recharge, or respond when i connect it to the computer. sometimes 'battery empty please charge' appears then it freezes again.

    its a Sony NW-A1000

Unit turns on, but is stuck on welcome screen. Won't shut off. Have to remove the battery. Plug into USB, and PC recogonizes as drive.

Is there a reset hole, or series of button pushes to reset, or hardware reset through USB?

My mp3 player is the Memorex Digital Mp3 player MMP8561. It won't charge anymore. My computer doesn't even recognize it. It's been plugged in for about 3 weeks. I even took it apart today if there was even a battery inside. I got it for my birthday like in April and it did that for two months and then I fixed and now it won't work.

Craig MP3 Player model no.CMP616F Problems MP3 Player turns on when connected to the computer but the minute I disconnect it, it turns right off and wont turn back on again until connected again.

this happened to me wen i first got mine, so what in the manual the mp3 will need at 4 hours at first to be charged fully, when u charge it flip the on/off switch ON, n let it sit as long as you can. thats the only way it will charge, the reason why it keeps turning off is becuz its on low battery

'please wait, very low battery' but not charging

Try to reformat it. It might be a virus or a bug.

Ipod ''dead''

Plug your iPod into a wall charger, let it lie for a couple of hours. When these batteries become completely flat, it won't easily charge through computer usb, so try the wall charger, see if it works.

Hi sir i have a problem in my ipod when ever i turn on my its gives messege too low battery

Try charging it up by plugging it into it's sync cable connected to a computer for a couple of hours. If that does not fix it then it sounds like you've got a bad battery. You can get replacement batteries here http://www.ifixit.com/iPod-Parts/

"Battery Is Too Low System Shutdown"

The battery has come loose from the contacts on the inside.

Remove the back (4 screws), remove the battery and put it back in securely.

Then charge it for a couple hours.

Best of Luck.
