Konica 3135 p17 error, wont go away

We just got this baby donated today. WE replaced one of the "door" panels(the top one) on the right side but the error wont go away.
where is the sensor that we might tap into to get it to go away. Copier wont work until it goes away.

The error is p17 which means right door,

Check the rear side of the machine in the opening. You should see a small tab on the rear side of the door. This tab is supposed to go through a small slot in the cover that would then contact the door sensor/switch to tell the machine that the door is closed.
If you located the little slot, you can try rolling up a piece of paper putting it in the slot and see if you can trick the machine to think the door is closed. If you can do this then you know that the sensor/switch is working and then you would have to concentrate on the door tab that is supposed to go through the sensor. Unfortunately, if you get the machine to think the door is closed with the paper trick, you still wont be able to make a copy cause the door needs to be closed in order for the rollers to feed the paper upwards. But at least you would be able to narrow it down.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I even still have some contacts for parts if needed.
Please remember to leave a feedback if my suggestion helped.
Have a good day.
Mac.

Error message 45-1 is being display on Konica Copier model 3135

most often what i have seen the cause of this problem is the lens motor pulley gets a crack in it which causes the pulley not to turn when the motor turns i have had some luck with pulling the pulley off the shaft and putting a drop of super glue on it then put it back on the shaft and it will hold for a while but the bad news is they dont make parts for this machine anymore so the time is near for this machine to be replaced sorry

I hope the correct toner is in there.
It could be that the cleaning blade on the drum isn't working or the charge isn't working right.

Konica 3135 error code 41

41-3 Error Code is an Optical return problem. The Scanner is not returning back to home position like it should.
A common problem with this model machine is a small black gear on the drive motor cracks or ovals out. If you can locate this gear, you can try placing a drop of super glue on it and see if it will hold. This works if the gear is ovaled out. If it is cracked or split then you will need to replace this gear.
Hope this helps a little.
Feel free to post another question if you need more help.
Good luck,
Mac =)

you have to be in the service mode.To be exact the 25 Mode.To enter turn power off,Hold down the "2"&"5"keys while turning power on.Then press the "p"key.Change the number you see to 57. So now you should see P57in the display. Then change the value from 1 to 0,then press Print. That holds it in memory. Then just turn off and back on.
