Re: konica 3135 p17 error, wont go away
Check the rear side of the machine in the opening. You should see a small tab on the rear side of the door. This tab is supposed to go through a small slot in the cover that would then contact the door sensor/switch to tell the machine that the door is closed.
If you located the little slot, you can try rolling up a piece of paper putting it in the slot and see if you can trick the machine to think the door is closed. If you can do this then you know that the sensor/switch is working and then you would have to concentrate on the door tab that is supposed to go through the sensor. Unfortunately, if you get the machine to think the door is closed with the paper trick, you still wont be able to make a copy cause the door needs to be closed in order for the rollers to feed the paper upwards. But at least you would be able to narrow it down.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I even still have some contacts for parts if needed.
Please remember to leave a feedback if my suggestion helped. Have a good day. Mac.

this error code means the interlock switch ms301 has failed or it could be the radf control board or the harness for ms301 it is almost impossible to find parts for these machines now. they are on the konica obsolete list sorry and good luck
most often what i have seen the cause of this problem is the lens motor pulley gets a crack in it which causes the pulley not to turn when the motor turns i have had some luck with pulling the pulley off the shaft and putting a drop of super glue on it then put it back on the shaft and it will hold for a while but the bad news is they dont make parts for this machine anymore so the time is near for this machine to be replaced sorry
if you are just wanting to disable the password function on the machine here is the steps to do that:
1.turn the machine off
2. hold the 2 and 5 while you turn the machine on
3.press the p button then 0 5 then press the p button
4.press 0 then start
5 turn the machine off then on
this disables ecm function so you wont have to enter a password to make a copy
on a c350:
1.leave the machine on and open the front door
2. locate a small rectangular hole inside the front dooron the bottom right side corner
3. insert a small object such as a small ball point pen to actuate a switch that resets the error code the screen will indicate door open when the error is reset.this is a fuser error code so if the error keeps coming back the fuser will have to be replaced
41-3 Error Code is an Optical return problem. The Scanner is not returning back to home position like it should.
A common problem with this model machine is a small black gear on the drive motor cracks or ovals out. If you can locate this gear, you can try placing a drop of super glue on it and see if it will hold. This works if the gear is ovaled out. If it is cracked or split then you will need to replace this gear. Hope this helps a little. Feel free to post another question if you need more help. Good luck,
you have to be in the service mode.To be exact the 25 Mode.To enter turn power off,Hold down the "2"&"5"keys while turning power on.Then press the "p"key.Change the number you see to 57. So now you should see P57in the display. Then change the value from 1 to 0,then press Print. That holds it in memory. Then just turn off and back on.
