Hi i was in the chat session with you just now if your telly is hd compatible then its obvious you can get hd quality picture and sound as dvd do hd sky and cable do hd channels and also games consoles do hd picture and sound if your telly doesnt say hd then it wont get hd quality pictures and sound. If it is hd then you need to have hd leads running from the equipment to your telly so that your telly know that its hd signal. Your telly if it is hd compatible it will have this option in the menu acessed via the tv controll. You can only recieve hd quality if you have hd equipment or hd equipment that picks up hd signal from cable tv or sky tv. So if your telly is hd then it has to have a way of recieving hd signal now if you only have scart sockets and the coloured sockets and you have looked for a flap that opens up on the back or either side or on the front of telly if you find no hd socket its about the size of usb port then the only way is through the coloured sockets you will need to get the correct leads and equipment needed make sure your telly is hd before buying any leads when you buy them take make and model of telly with you so they can cross referance the leads with your telly. Hope this is helping you with your problem let me know if you need further assistance ok
I read in the manual for the Sony KDF 50E3000 that you should use warm soapy water on a clean cloth if you aren't able to remove it with a dry cloth. I find that the microfiber cloths work best.
