Re: logging on to windows
There are a couple things you can try. First, try logging on with a username of Administrator and no password (just leave it blank) and see if that will log you on. You'd be surprised how many systems have this as default. If you can't get in that way, and you have access to another machine with Internet access (which, apparently, you do), you can build a BartPE disk. http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/

Re: logging on to windows
Oy..only way to do this is from the installation cd that came with the system. Did you try the password 'hint' option(question mark next to the password panel) to see if that jogs your memory?

Windows Advanced Options Menu
Please select an option:

Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Enable Boot Logging
Enable VGA mode
Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)

type in net user username
For eg. If you want to change administrator password , type net user Administrator
It will prompt you to enter the new password.
Enter the new password and the password is changed
Click "Start," then select "Run." In the text box displayed, enter "control userpasswords2" and press "Enter." This opens a configuration window.
Click the user for whom you want to disable the password login.
After selecting the user, remove the check mark labeled "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer."
A dialog box will prompt you for the password.
Enter the user's password to authorize the changes and press "OK."
Reboot your Windows XP computer.
When it shows the list of user profiles, click the user whose password was disabled.
Forgetting your Windows XP login details might at first seem like a disaster. Don't panic though; your login password and username are easily recovered by changing the login details to that of the administrator.
Begin with your computer turned off, and then turn it on. You will need to log in to your computer manually and this can only be done in the load-up screens. Wait until your computer reaches the Windows login screen. The screen usually displays a "Welcome" message. Press and hold the "Ctrl", "Alt" and "Delete" keys two times at the Windows login screen. Your computer will automatically reveal a Classic Login box. Type "Administrator" (without quote marks) into the "Username" field and leave the "Password" field blank. Windows automatically creates an Administrator account when your computer is first booted up; in this account you can alter or change any user's login details. Navigate through the "Start" menu and click on the "Control Panel." In the Control Panel explorer, double-click on the "User Accounts" icon to open a new window. Select "Change an Account" in the User Accounts window and select the username you want to alter. From here you can edit the user's name and password, but you can also alter the user's picture, account type and .NET password. Restart your computer to login with your new username and password. b>
if your system asks for daomin name press ok it will take you to your windows then click start settings controlpannel then user account then click the change the way user log on and log off tick the use welcome screen and use fast user switching then apply option then restart the computer
If you forget your Windows password or
if your password expires,
you must reset your password before you can log on to your computer. This
article contains two methods that you can try to reset your password so
that you can log on to your computer again.
These steps only work if you have previously created a password reset
disk for the computer, or if you
can log on as an administrator to
assign a new password to your account.
If you do not have a
reset disk or cannot log on as an administrator, unfortunately, you may
have to reinstall Windows XP and all
other programs that were installed on the computer before you can use
the computer again. This is for security. Without
these safeguards, anyone could reset a password to anyone else's
computer and gain access to private information.
Also there is another way you can solve this issue. - Go to start and run type in CMD -Black screen would pop up and do this net user user name *
(user name means whatever ur username is that appears on your login
after this the computer will ask u to type a password so just type any
password. Better to type a really short one becasue when you type the
password on this screen you won't see the cursor moving or your password
being typed in.
Press Enter after typing the password.
It will ask you to retype the password. Again the password would be
visible when you type.
Press Enter and it will tell you command completed successfully. If it
does not work then retype the commands again carefully. Just make sure u
type a short password, probably a one letter password and u wont have
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Thanks.
so just press ctrl+alt+delete(press delete 2 time) ur login screen change to black and its ask u username and password, just clean everything and in username type "administrator" then press enter u r login in administrator.

By removing password on WINDOWS LOG-I, here a tip on how to remove the password. # Before the windows system boot up press F8 then will appear Windows Configuration command then select SAFE MODE. # Wait until it comes up to the screen and you will see the 2 USERS "ADMINISTRATOR" in "USERNAME". # Go to Control Panel and select USER ACCOUNT. # Click on "USERNAME" then remove the password. # Restart your COMPUTER and the windows system will direct you to the DESKTOP.
Hope this might help you my instructions. Good luck!
start the computer in safe mode and then when in safe mode login as administrator and you can then reset the User name and password. I do it all the time here in the shop. it is a pretty well unknown back door into windows.
Do you want to reset a password for log in? Or into bios.
What you could do is log into windows threw safe mode. to do this press f7 during log in ( somes times it could be f8 or f9 just keep pressing them all, not at once, till it asks if you want to start up in safe mode) from their log in as the admin account open command prompt by click start then run then type cmd then ok.
You will ee a black dialogue box in their type this
net user user name*
of course instead of the user name you would put what ever the username of the account you want to change the password of
after you hit enter (after typing net user username*) it will ask what u want the new password to be enter that and then reenter it if it asks then restart in the normal way you always do and enjoy your new password
this is only a try. Switch on your system and then if your system prompted to supply password in any username thereto. just leave that instead. simultaneously press " Ctrl + Alt+ Delete" two times. Your prompted to supply " Username" and "Password":
On Username: type " administrator" all lower case On Password: leave it blank. and then click OK. may this solve.
If this not work then sorry i have to go on research about that.
