On the Navigaton direction button on the back of the camera the "Right direction" button has a little lightning bolt sign.

Repeatedly press this button while the camera is in picture taking mode to go through the flash settings sequence. (Watch the display while pressing this button)
Settings:
1 No Flash, Lightning bolt circled with slash across it.
2 Auto Flash, Lightning bolt with an "A" beside it.
3 Auto RedEye remover, includes an "eye" symbol.
4 Flash Always On, Lightning bolt alone.
5 Unknown, I don't know what the S mode is, I haven't used that one before (something to do with ISO virtual film speed setting).

Have fun.
Hope this was helpfull. The flash will not work. I think something needs - 308b6a1.jpg

All lights flashing isn't something you can "reset". Are the lights flashing alternately, or together? These are different errors.

Alternating means that the printer thinks the "waste ink pads" are filled and need to be replaced (costs more than a new printer). You can reset the counter, but then you run some risk that the waste ink will overflow your printer onto the surface where it sits. messy.

The SSC utility will help you reset it if that's what you want.

Nikon D40 green light flashing even when off

Sorry to hear this. Dropping something on concrete creates a high G force. Can you make sure the battery is fully charged before you put it in. If you have a good battery and all it does is blink something must have been broken. I think a D40 is a rather old camera too. Sorry I do not think I can help you. In most times a LED green blinking means it is charging. When carrying a camera you should wrap the strap around your wrist. If you do it correctly if you drop your camera it will not hit the ground. It is best to keep it from dropping on the ground.

White screen for Facebook games

Facebook games use Flash so you need to make sure your adobe flash is installed and working go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download the latest flash player for your browser that should fix it not working if not you might need to reset your browser settings go to tools then internet options then advanced and it the reset. Make sure you dont reset all your personal settings because that is not needed to fix this problem.

Electrolux wine cooler ''af'' code flashing

Believe it or not we had the same problem.... The air filter should be changed about every six months but it is just charcoal or baking soda or something like that and is not attached to any sensors. To reset the flashing light, make sure the control panel is unlocked then hold down the on/off and (-) buttons and it will reset.
Good Luck! Elisabeth

My sony str de605 am/fm reciever flashes "Protector", is there something I need to replace internally?

Hiya, not sure if i remember correctly but try reset it. First disconnect the speakers (make sure error isnt there)
When it is ON, press and hold the power button for about 4 seconds. It should then ask reset, clear or something and press enter. When its finished, try it again. If ok, reconnect speakers. If it happens with speakers, there is a problem. If it doesnt work and goes straight back to protect, then there is an internal fault (if i have the reset procedure correct)

Best of luck

Panasonic PTAE 900U with new lamp and counter reset shut off

Reseat the lamp.  I had a similar problem.  Replaced the lamp and everything worked for about 3 hours.  Then, turned the projector off.  Next morning, when I turned it on, nothing.  Stanby/On light flashed green for a minute then the lamp light came on and the projector went into standby.

Hi, Here is the link to the manual. I think something like 'thermo coupling' probably means you need a technician!
