you have to insert a boot-able cd with the operation system ..and repair the boot sequence ..or reinstall the operation system from scratch ...this happens when the antivirus deletes a virus that is attached on a system file and it does it with the file itself .. I think it wil be enough to boot until the first screen ..and after the loading of the primary files..choose repair ..and the windows you have ...and after that the command to fix it is <fixboot> .. If you do not manage this way ..let it go with the installation and choose repair on the second screen ...when it asks to repair...install or don;t repair..and in there will go like a installation ..only that will keep all files and programs and change the system files only ...you will need to reinstall the drivers too ..

Usual reason for computer message 'unable to find hardware' is the lack of suitable driver software. This is normally supplied on CD/DVD with hardware and is usually loaded into computer before connecting hardware.
If you don't have driver software CD/DVD you can normally download software file from the hardware manufacturers website. Make sure you download the software for the particular operating system of your computer.
You may have to uninstall hardware and reboot before installing the driver software.
Look earnestly, using educational resources as those in libraries available to you, and by reading books about iPod and the operating systems you use. I might add that the thing itself isn't broken, so you can call yourself way off course in asking here.
Check your BIOS , by clicking DELETE button when you switch on your PC.Find , whether removable drives are present or not .If not present then check connection of combodrive to motherboard . And if present there then try this.. Go to MyComputer Icon , right click on it and select Manage option... Find Storage in that and look for your optical drive ...and refresh it ,if it is there....
