- I tried the same thing, using the component video outputs. The TV reported no signal. Sound, however, played on the DR-UN7 speakers and the remote would change chapters. - John HolecekSolution #1

Nowdays there are CLONE type remotes available form electrical stores.
These clone type remotes carry all the codes necessary to work TV, Vdeos, CD players and other domestic sound systems.
I would suggest that you visit one of these stores and see what they have for your ONKYO system, the cost is not great and you will walk out with a complete remote for your system that will work all the other controls as well..
The stores have a fold out paper list, (thats very long) showing model and manufacturer detail for what codes you need to enter into the new remote to make it compatible wuith your ONKYO system.
