This may sound like a silly question but why does the water start & stop when starting a load? It just does "spurts" of water. I also thought I could see the actual water in the machine through the window but I don't. It seems like I only hear about a gallon of water going into each load. Does that sound right? I know they use less water but how do the clothes get washed & rinsed with so little water? (If this is correct). Does it sound like something might be wrong? I am not getting any error codes. Thanks!

If the pump runs for a few seconds then stops it could be the flowmeter is blocked. This is in the tank bottom right (under the drain plate) & has a black grille in front of it. Can be cleaned by a toothbrush or a quick spurt from a garden hose!
If no pump is heard, then it could be a faulty pump....... Hope this helps.
Hi just read your posting. Sounds like you have an out of balance switch problem. This is the most likely cause on the information you have posted. 80% of the time it is the switch and about 20% of the time it is the rotor sensor which is attached to the motor.Just a question or two. Does your machine stop during filling and light up a series of lights and it starts to beep.If it does ,from left to right is it the 3rd and 6th or 1st and 7th etc please reply and I can guide you throe what action needs to be taken.

You most likely have a smart water temp sensor on your machine. It makes sure you have the proper water temp to dissolve your detergent. Even when set to cold, it will add some hot water. It sounds like your machine is working properly. If you feel you are haveing a problem check the water temperatures in your owners manual and then check them with a thermomater in the washer. If they are not correct you may have a bad temperature sensor. Good Luck and I hope this helped. [email protected]
