hi, go to main menu then >SETTINGS >RESTORE FACTORY SETTING >then enter your security code...if not change ,the default code is 12345 ...wait until the phone reboot and its done.. i hope it will help you ,thanks for trusting fixya
You do not have to visit any sites for a free update on the firmware. You just have to install Nokia PC Suite on your PC. It came in the CD that you got with the phone. If not then download it from the Nokia site. Install it and run it. Connect the phone and find an option of updatinthe phone firmware. Select it and it will take you to down load Nokia SW Updater. NSU. Run NSU and you will be asked some questions like"have you backed up the data on the phone", "have you removed the memory card" etc. Say yes to all of them after doing them. And after sometime the update will commence. And you will get a new phone with the latest firmware. Then you can restore the backed up data to the phone.

Open the menu then go to setting. Then scroll down go to restore factory setting and open it then enter the security code 12345 if you dont have change its security code. But if you change it the type your own code. Thank you.

The default security code is 12345. If it doesnt work remove your battery for 15min and try the code again. Still the same?the code has most probably been changed. Dont remember the code?Best to refer to a Nokia Service centre for a code reset :)
