Call Galileo at 1.800.548.3537.
I've ordered parts from them before.
And they speak English.

I have a Bushnell Telescope model # AG-78-4306 I need the part that attaches the tripod to the telescope

Telescopes and other things designed to fit on a tripod usually have a female thread and the attaching screw is part of the tripod.

If there is no female thread it isn't designed to fit on a tripod and an adaptor will be required. If it is available it will have to be sourced from the manufacturer or an optic specialist.

If it was mine I would have a brief look through Amazon/ebay and if no luck I would fabricate something myself.

Broken tripod for edu science telescope

You can buy a photo tripod and attach the tube to the tripod. You may need to visit a local hardware store to find the correct mounting bolts.

That scope is sold by Toys R Us -- as far as I know they DO NOT sell replacement parts.

Any photo tripod would work if you can attach the tube. Toys R us do not provide any instruction manual, and they do not sell parts.

We receive the most complaints on this brand. It is really a TOY telescope. Sorry.

I have reflector telescope 672 power and im missing some pieces. I need to get one tripod leg, all the screws to the telescope and the finderscope. I needed to find out how to go about getting these...

It's not worth hunting down that many parts for that small telescope. You cannot just buy a tripod leg-- you must buy the entire tripod. Eyepieces cost at least $30 each-- and a finderscope at least another $30-$40.

Locate another complete telescope. It's not economical to repair that low cost small scope. Toys R Us who sell that brand do not furnish replacement parts.

I recently bought a used bushnell reflector telescope that is missing a tripod mounting bracket and screw, can you please tell me where i can find one?

You cannot find parts for that very low cost telescope. You can buy a tripod but the cost will probably be more than you paid for the scope.

Here are tripods:

Next time do not waste your money on these types of telescopes. Instead save up and buy something like this:

Plastic part at end with "hook" on the leg of tripod is broken and despite trying at least three different types of super glues and epoxy I cannot repair it.

The tripod cannot be repaired unless you can find something at a hardware store. Toys R Us (they sell this scope) do not have any parts. A replacement tripod will cost more than the scope is worth. We receive more complaints about this telescope than just about any other brand.

Next time buy something like this:

No replacement parts available for that telescope. Suggest you take the tripod to a well stocked hard ware store and see if they have any screws, bolts, or clamps that would repair the tripod.

You can buy another photo tripod of course.

You probably cannot get replacement parts for that telescope. Your next best bet is a well stocked hardware store-- for some hardware to repair the tripod.
