Hp 6720s compaq keeps freezing??

Hp 6720s compaq keeps freezing whenever you select anything.tried reinstalling win7 and never gets past the finalizing ya settings part,help

tried win xp and just get the blue screen with lots of writing. can u post me the link to the item i need to download please,how can i download that to laptop if its not goin on??

Try updating your audio drivers for your sound card. Just go into "device manager" and select your audio device and choose "update driver".....

I dont have proper sound drivers and pci driver for hp compaq 6720s

You can download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEBsupport/download page. Make sure you
select your model laptop and the XP orVista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Click onthis link to download the drivers: -

Hi, I have a HP compaq 6720s laptop, my problem is that the mouse pad has suddenly stopped working. I have purchased a usb mouse and it works fine with that. Is there anything i can do to get the mopuse...

Try downloading the drivers for the touchpad from HP website and check if it works? Is the LED light near to the touchpad on?

Sound is not working on my laptop compaq 6720s

Try downloading the latest audio driver from the Compaq WEB site.
You need to download the audio drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP or Vista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Use this link to download the drivers: -

My HP Compaq 6720s keeps freezing

I'd recommend backing up your important files and re-installing windows.

There are soooo many possibilities as what it could be but that's not important. The outcome is what matters. So try that first and then let me know if you have any problems following.

Poor volume - with all settings on max the volume is really low om my hp compaq 6720s

Need to do Powerdrain. Then do a BIOS update. Them reinstall the sound drive and restart the Laptop
