Coby TF-DVD7050 no video.just a blue screen

I have a Coby TF-DVD7050 that only plays a blue screen, no Coby splash screen. You can hear the DVD but get only a blue screen.
It's not even a year old, anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Hello
The backlight inverter board of your TFT is faulty. Soemtimes the CCFL tubes have the trouble. Anyway, there is no backlight coming up. Check for it. OK.

Screen stays black how can i fix it?

Play a store-bought dvd movie. See if there is a switch for the internal screen and a video out source. Switch it. Use the power cord. If you get no results, chuck it, it's broken. Repair is not worthwhile.

No Sound when playing a video game on Coby Pertable DVD player

Do you have the audio plugs in the proper spot? The red & white audio plugs from the PS 2 need to be plugged into the audio in jacks on the portable dvd player in order to get sound. Should match up red to red; white to white for sound, yellow to yellow for video. Hope this helps.
