Open the phone back up and unplug all the FLEX cables from the system board then plug all the FLEX cables back in, be sure that the flex cables are aligned correctly and full plugged in. Then try the phone again, I know there has been 4 times where I replaced an LCD and upon turning it on had nothing but black screen. Did what I said above and 3 times the LCD worked perfectly(must have been a FLEX cable not seated all the way) and the 4th time it was a bad LCD screen.
The LCD screen will need to be replaced. They are less then $20 on Ebay. And it is easy to do. Here is a guide that explains the whole process step by step. It even has pictures to make it easy to follow.
if you could see any image from the broken lcd before changing it so your new lcd is not working or no installed right
and if not you may try the cable or the hard shock that broke your lcd effected the main board
try to check the sensor light on the upper left part and press it maybe its a little loose only....because i had the same problem a while ago and when i press the one connected to the sensor light.... a small brown board, it works properly...maybe yours is a little loose also....no need to pay try this one first....
if the phone didn't get wet or u can't see a visibly broken screen then
ur lcd may still be working, u simply may need to re seat the ribbon
cable that connects the lcd by un screwin the 4 screws that hold the
display n pryin in open from the mid section of each side then use
somthing flat to lift the connector n replacing it pressin firmly.
