I am no longer able to connect to the internet from my laptop. The internet light on my router is red, every other light is green. I am not able to connect to any other wireless networks either, is this an ISP problem or is it a problem on my laptop? (not really too computer savy)

You have an outside connection issue. If the broadband link is red you are not receiving the internet service correctly from your provider. Need to call your cable/dsl provider and let them perform an over the phone check to make sure all is correct.
