Question about Toshiba 52HM95 52" HDTV Projection Television
About 1 yr after purchace (no warranty) it developed a bright spot in the bottom center of the screen...this bright spot keeps growing upward. now it looks like someone is holding a flashlite from the bottom up on the screen. cant find a repair man in jersey...thinking of opening it up and attempt to fix myself...worst that could happen is i'll end up just throwing the damned thing out!
can see it in certain lighting and even when the TV is off! It will appear lighter than the surrounding areas at times and can be annoying. I called Toshiba and had a service man come out and even though he acknowledged that this is common, Toshiba will not replace the screen.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
