I just had the same error code come up on mine and I talked with a the KitchenAid help line and they said the control key got too wet and it should go out within 24 hours otherwise we need a service call. Hope that helps.....I hope my error code goes out as well!!
We tried turning of the circuit breaker and nothing happened. We tried a second time and the control panel went weird with codes all over the place. The codes cleared and the panel went back to normal functions. Still curious to know what F2 E1 means.

Hi Thanks for using FixYa. Error code F1-E1 means safety flip flop and to resolve this issue you'll have to replace the Electronic Range Control (ERC). Please rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance. ThanksRylee
Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2-E1 in your Kitchen Aid range indicates shorted keypad. To resolve this issue you’ll have to check the oven temp. sensor circuit if the reading is more then 1100ohms then it should be replaced however, if the rating is fine then it is the Electronic Range Control (ERC) that has gone bad & should be replaced. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Hi Thanks for using FixYa. Error F3-E1 in your kitchen
