Question about RCA TH1101 MP3 Player
I have the RCA Pearl. I downloaded songs to my MP3 player it played fine one day I went to play it the songs played like a CD skipping on the one's I got off the internet. The songs I downloaded from the computer library before those play just fine! 73 songs are on it but it only shows it having 20. It also wont pull up on the computer doesn't let me down load new one's or delete the old one's either.
I've found out how to help this problem. What you have to do is re-download the firmware and reformat the data area.
Download from this site: http://support.rcaaudiovideo.com/downloads.aspx?product=25
(If this doesn't autolink, copy and paste it in your browser's address bar.)
And when you run it, click the checkbox for "Format Data Area." When the message comes up saying you want to delete all the files, click "yes-" it's worth deleting all your songs if it works properly afterwards. You'll have to re-sync your songs and the downloads take forever, but it works.
