Question about Canon PC-940 Black and White Copier
My Canon PC940 copier prints all black copies. It is lightly used and about 3 years old. I changed the toner cartridge and the problem persists. Cannon support suggests that condensation would cause this and I should leave the machine open for 2-3 hours. We did so and the problem remains the same. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution? Any suggestions or help would be sincerely appreciated.
You could have a broken exposure lamp. Does the scan bar light up when you make a copy? If not that is the problem. You might also ck the contacts on the machine where they touch the toner cartridge. The toner cartridge opens a shutter to the drum when you slid it into the machine and that may be broken.
