Is there an easy way to "tighten" the hinge? When my phone is open it is very loose and the top part flops around.

Tighten minolta 10X40 j-B35

Cloudynights person says it was very difficult to get the cap off the hinge so that he could tighten it. He had to hone small screwdrivers until he could pop off that hinge (it is so well sealed for the WR rating, I suppose). Then he could get to the bolt that tightened the hinge so the binos stopped flopping about. I still don't know how he got that cap off, though.

Sun visor won't go back into place

if its flopping around or feels loose you can try tightening the "hinge" that connects it to the roof and tightening the screws on the visor itself. That might align it enough to fit again properly.

The door flops open as the rope has broken. I have the replacement part but need a diagram to show how to replace the part. Where can i find the diagram?

Documented in the manual...The plastic part goes on the metal hinge on the door...follow the rope down to the top wheel (clockwise and around) to the bottom wheel (counterclockwise and around), attach to the spring.

I have a Whirlpool Model# LSQ7030LQ0 washing machine. The washer is making a lot of noise and the agititator seems loose and is flopping around as it turns. If I grab on to the agitator I can stop it...

This "MAY" be an easy fix,

I have seen the main bolt that fixes the agitator to the drive shaft come loose.

If you can imagine the agitator as a cone, the top point of the agitator is a cap that should pull or clip off. If so, using a long extention shaft and a socket set, you should be able to tighten up the bolt.

Good luck and post back results

Loose hinges

Hi,

I met this problem almost all brands of laptops. Depending on how the hinges being built (return spring, embedded lock notch, etc.) Some are easy to adjust and some need more precise tightenings due to wear and tear of the lock notch. However you can buy hinges too at ebay just specify the brand and models as well as the LCD screen part no. replacement. Hope this gives you hint.

Best regards,
Rosener
