To communicate with another BLUETOOTH device, you first need to set up the BLUETOOTH function.
1.Click Start, All Programs, and VAIO Smart Network.
2 Click the switch next to BLUETOOTH to toggle it to On in the
VAIO Smart Network window.
Make sure the WIRELESS indicator light turns on.
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this right click to install driver also click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have made the correct adjustmentsthere click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can make adjustments there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar hope this helps
have you tried going to start then go to control panel then go to sounds and audio devices and look to see if the internal speakers are turned on. most pc's will turn them off when they see external speakers pluged in then when you unplug the speakers you have to go these steps to fix the problem.
jst make sure that correct driver has been installed for the sound or else jst updtae the sound drivers form device manager, and check with the sound settings , u can also check from the menu of the monitor whether the volume has been set to 100% or not.
Check your PC's volume. You may or someone in your household has accidentally muted it. Unmute it or increase its volume (if you can't find the audio icon in the taskbar, proceed to the control panel - it's there), it maybe too low.

try to find the volume in your task bar, maybe was set to mute. if not see the volume. go to control panel double click the " audio and sound device" uncheck the mute "box" , same probelm occur. do this, Install the correct audio driver, maybe have error on it, Find the CD/DVD utilities of your computer and the install the audio driver., if don,t have CD/DVD utilities tell me the Audio card model number or if the audio is builtin to motherboard tell me the motherboard for me to search the driver for you to download.
