The format file you downloaded is not compatible with your mp4. you can see your downloaded file by connecting it to your computer then explore your mp4 thru the computer. file system of videos supposedly you are downloading should be .3gp; .avi or even .mpeg

I formatted my player. Than added new music files. When I try to play them it shows error "No files". But when I open this device through my system. I am able to see music files. Plz help.

This device is only capable of playing MP3 and WMA files. Make sure that the files are in a format that the system can recognize. If that doesn't work, use the software for the device to make sure the firmware is up to date, and not corrupted, and reload the files. Hope this helps!

Movie format

Hello,

usually the video format should be Mp4. Check the format, maybe that's the reason why its not showing up.

Good luck.

I downloaded some music and videos on my fuse. They arent there when I check the music menu. I connect it to my xbox 360 usb ports they show up on the device but they wont play.

Hello,

Thanks for using FixYa.

Its possible that the audio format that you've downloaded to your Fuse is not compatible to your device.

My problem is my sharper image mp4 player isn't download videos

If it's not downloading videos, first you need to check the requirements. If you're trying to download a video from the computer to your MP4, you have to make sure that the device has enough space to accept the video.

Example: the video size is 700MB, but you only have 600MB remaining storage on your MP4, then the device could never afford a file size that is larger that the free storage.

Check the supported file format of the device. Refer to the user manual of your device to see what are the supported video file formats. Let's say the device could support .avi file, but you are trying to download .3gp or other file format, the device would not accept it.

Kindly refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for more details about your device.

Thank you!

How can see video clips in philips sa3245

Hello,

Overview for all SA3245 devices, go to next site:
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpproduct_selector.pl?slg=ENG&searchtxt=SA3245

Select your country in the top page and enter the model number SA3245 again and > Search for the device.
The one and only model page opens or select your exact model from the list, when it shows up.

Manual for the SA3245 available with next link:
http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/s/sa3245_02/sa3245_02_dfu_eng.pdf
To view video, see page 20 of the manual.

Transferring videos requirements see page 13 of the manual: the media converter software download should be used to acquire the correct file format.
See under "Software and drivers" on the exact model number support page for the converter download ( a zip file ).

in philips go gear device it wont show the song or video unless or untill its a compatible one(e.g it wont play real player .flv files) to the player..check whether you can play the song from the device in your computer. if yes try a different youtube converter software.

I can't get my downloaded video files to transfer onto my device

it does work with vista, the reason it won't convert, is because you do not have the latest video codecs on your computer.

Do a google search for software called Prism Video converter, it is free and if you try and convert a video file on this, it will automatically download the codecs you need to convert it to the correct format. Once it downloads the correct codecs, load up your arcsoft media converter for philips that your unit came with and convert it. You have to use this program or it will not play on your player.

I have tons of tv shows downloaded, etc, and had to do it this way, AND I am using vista. Good Luck.
