The specks and dots are caused by the Primary Corona wire not creating a good enough charge to the drum. If you swing open the toner hopper assy, carefully release and remove the Primary Corona and clean it with an eraser pencil all should be well for awhile. Very carefully clean the very thin gold plated wires below the silver grid wire. These will break very easily. If you've not had the whole assy replaced for over 300,000 copies or so you may want to purchase a new one for around $130. The old one could be used for a back-up if you should ever break the charge wires. Hope this helps.

A4 size copy of the black bottom about 50 cm,, if you can help me ..?

I pressume that you think that you have 5 or 50 mm, black line on copy.

That can be the problem of drum cleaning blade or worn out fixing roller or fixing roller bushing.

Hope that helps!

How do you change the cleaning blade and drum in Canon 5000 copier.

why do you want to change the drum, the drum goes about 5 000 000 copies and its too expensive.
The drum cleaning blade goes about 150 000 copies and to change him on your own you need service manual.

Why spot in the copy? ir 400 canon

If its black spots on the copy it could be that your drum unit needs to be serviced or change. IF it's white spots it could be a problem with moisture in the paper. IF it is moisture doing a copy on the back side of the paper should come out clear.

Double check paper orientation when you put paper into the feeder and how the paper is loaded.

The orientation of the page in the feeder and the page in the drawer should match.

Copying problems

Hi Beckybuzz,
I have couple of ideas for ya. But I assure you I can help. First thing is to merely reduce the image slightly by about 4%. OR, you can go into "additional functions" and alter the x and y coordinates whicj allows you to skinny or stretch the image from top to bottom or (in your case) left to right. You can also do an "image shift" which was designed specifically for a 2 sided finished document. All kinds of goodies are available under the additional functions tab. I am sorry I don't have the op panel in front of me , but I believe you will be fine because of the intelligent manner of which you aked the question. But please, by all means feel free to ask back if I can help more. Take care and GFL.!..........................................SPINAL>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
