How do i connect a hands free kit to a htc desire

You need to put your hands free device into pairing mode this is usually done by turning the power on and keeping the power button pressed in for about 10 seconds after the power has come on. Then you should get a solid LED light up, (depends on device)

On the phone go into

1 Settings
2 Wireless and Networks
3 Bluetooth Settings
4 Turn on Bluetooth
5 Scan for devices

The name of your hands free kit should appear, select this and the phone will ask if you want to pair with the device, confirm this. You probably will get asked for a passkey or password this is usually four zeros or 1,2,3,4. enter this and confirm. Your device should now be paired and each time you want to use it just turn on your handset Bluetooth then your hands free device and your good to go.

Perform a hard reset and then attempt to login repeatedly (10x).

My HP Ipaq 6915 goes off at 60% battery level or when i try to connect to wi fi, and switch off my bluetooth. At 85% battery power level i cant make or receive calls. It just loses network connectivity,...

Hello,

The batteries from Ebay that are from China have lots of issues. I use an HP 6945 phone/pda and had the same issue with my original battery. I tried a cheap battery and it died within 2 months. I ordered an HP original battery and have been using it again full strength for 7 months. The new battery works bluetooth, wi-fi and gps as well as phone down to about 15% before I recharge. The HP batteries are more expensive but they are worth the extra price.

Microphone not working

You should try a ROM upgrade. THis problem may have occured if you have a corrupted ROM memory. If for my first choice.. hmm.. It isn't hardware, in my opinion. Try the ROM update first. Save all your important data (no back-up) only save the files to the computer, then have the PDA's battery fully charged, make an active sync connection using USB sync cable (bluetooth, or IR woun't work) and open the ROM update file. For a ROM update, use the oficial HP ROM versions. Here is a link to the wm2003 version. It is the only one that HP distributes free of any charges. Folow the instructions carefully. http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=414322&prodTypeId=215348&prodSeriesId=430120&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=2008 In that list select and download : HP iPAQ h6300 Pocket PC Series ROM Update (English Languages Support Only) Good luck, fell free to ask any other question about this process or others and always remember to rate solutions. :)

Connect to the internet via

Once the Socketcom Bluetooth card is inserted in the Toshiba Pocket e570 PC and the software has been loaded, the following instructions will set up the Toshiba PDA & Ericsson T39 mobile phone to connect to the Internet. Click on the Bluetooth icon in the bottom right hand corner. Click on Get Connected! Select the device under My Bluetooth phone is: In this case the Ericsson T39. The following information gives details on how to change the name of the Mobile device. Once this has been read, click on Next. The phone now has to be made discoverable so that the PDA will detect it. To do this, use the down arrow on the phone to select Extras and then click on Yes. Scroll down to Bluetooth and Click on Yes. Select Make Discoverable and a message on the phone will appear saying that the phone is discoverable for the next 3 minutes. Click on Next on the PDA. The PDA will now look for a Bluetooth device(s). Once the mobile is detected the PDA will search for the Device Name of the mobile. Click on Select and the devices will not connect and create a partnership. The following Device Bonding window should appear to create a bond between the PDA and phone. Click on Next. To create the bond a passkey must be entered on the PDA. This may be a between a 4-16 digit code. N.B. We would advise that the code be kept to a numeric sequence as the keys contain more than one letter on them, i.e. for the letter L, the number 5 key will need to be depressed 3 times. Once the passkey is entered, click on the Reply button. On the mobile, click on Yes to accept the incoming pass and then enter the same passkey. Click on Yes again to confirm. If the two values are correct, a message will appear on the phone telling you that the devices are bonded. The PDA should now congratulate you on your connection. For Internet access via Bluetooth, please follow the steps outlined below. The above instructions only need to be carried out each time a connection is required. However, the instructions below only need to be setup once. Click on Start, then Settings from the drop down menu. Click on the Connections tab at the bottom of the screen followed by the Connections icon utility. In the first drop box labelled "When needed automatically connect to The Internet using these settings" select New. Under the General tab you will be prompted to give the new connection a name, e.g. Bluetooth. Select the modem "Bluetooth Phone" and click on Next Make sure that the fields for the boxes titled Country code and Area code, are empty. The next field requires the full telephone number, including STD code, you wish to dial, i.e. your ISP telephone number. Put this in and click on Next. The next page contains a time out clause if the PDA is unable to connect within a set time. By default this should be 120 seconds. Make sure the tick box for "Wait befo
