Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
I get an orange light when i put it on the charger, when i try to turn it on the green light turns on then goes off. any help will be appreciated. thanks
Hmmmm sounds like bad news ! This is a sign that your PSP may be bricked, i.e. the software has been damaged and so now it will not function. There are several ways to fix this. In our shop we restore the software. Others choose the easy way out and replace the whole motherboard. Either way, this is not a repair you can handle yourself. Sorry for the bad news.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
May 04, 2013 | Nintendo DS Lite
Oct 31, 2009 | Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Jul 14, 2009 | Sony PSP-3000 Silver Console
Apr 15, 2009 | Nintendo DS Lite Console
Open the battery compartment, and remove the battery. Look at the bottom inside corner for a little square sticker with has marks on it. is it dark or light, If it is dark, your PSP has come in contact with moisture. I suspect that your PSP has gotten wet or damp. If the sticker is dark, you need to keep your battery out for about 2 days, and keep the UMD door open and the whole PSP kept in a dry environment. Try it after 2 days of drying to see if it is recovered. Good luck Gohan....
