I think you need to install a driver/ The H: drive are not detected by this device. Better you change the drive location.

How can I extract the pictures from the camera memory of my Canon 550D?

You can remove the SD memory card from the Canon camers and insert the SD memory card into an USB memory card reader. Connect the USB memory card reader into the USB port of the working computer. The computer will see this card reader as an external memory device, click on this device and open the folder that contains the photos and you can then copy the photos to your computer.

Not able to copy the photos from the camera to my computer

If you have the USB cable that came with your camera, connect the USB ent to the computer and the other end to your camera. Hit the power button on your camera. This should activate a drive on your computer. Search for the drive in My Computer. Open the drive, then open the folder that contains your photos. You should then be able to copy or drag and drop the photos to your computer.

yes this is possible all you have to do is follow these instructions:

there is two ways to load pictures from your cam to pc:
step 1
youll need a card reader to put in the memory card to a usb port.
A.then the computer will recognize the device as a FLASH DISK/ REMOVABLE DISK.
B.some pc will automatically open once you inserted the card reader to the usb port "click open containing folder". if the pc does not open automatically open my computer and find the "falsh disk/removable disk" and click.
C.once inside find the DCIM folder this contains your pictures taken from your cam.
D. now you can choose a picture you like to be transfered or copy to your PC
E. save picture in a folder that you ca easily remember

step 2
need a usb wire to connect cam to usb port
A. attach wire from your cam to usb port/pc
B. your cam will show options choose storage data. the other options requires a software
C.same as step 1 from B-E

i hope i was able to help you! good luck!

Cannot delete the pictures on my memory stick. Would like to delete all at once rather than one at a time.

Its simple.
After connecting sony camera USB to laptop, a window will pop up automatically.
In that select files to open.
You can see a folder named DCIM.
click and open DCIM folder, it will contain another folder 101MSDCF.
Inside 101MSDCF you will find all photos that were taken.

This is what i do to reclaim the memory...
I dont know whether its standard way to delete the photos from sony memory stick.
any support guys from sony camera can comment on this solution...

thanks
Select and delete.
