"searching" message on both phones continuously (by 6 users)

Same issue. Sometimes the problem doesn't start until there is an incoming message.

I also have the same problem. I have tried everything as per the manual, Master reset, Un-register and then Re-register but both handsets seem to be locked in the Searching mode.

The other thing i have noticed (not sure how relevant) is that the phone socket on the base station only has 2 brass pins where my other BT cordless phone has 4. The lead that connects to this plug also has pins (wires red and green). I tried the phone lead i got with the Philips phones with my BT phone and it does not work; so i tried by BT lead with the Philips phone and unfortunately it did not also work.

Does anybody out there know the solution to this frustrating problem?

phone states searching! Even when i remove batteries for hours and reinstall it still says searching...please help!!!!!!

I have exactly the same problem. The manual states to reset the phones, but the phones will not allow me to do so. Can anyone help !!!!
