Question about Cell Phones
Hi. My blackberry screen often (4-8) times a day just goes white for no reason. Nothign can be seen on the screen. The phone still works, but without the screen, it is obviously difficult to navigate etc... Sometimes, it will just sort itself out and come back, but other times I will need to repeatedly take the battery off and to re-start it. Doesn't always work though. It's summer here, so I thought the phone was over heating, but it also happened when it was a cold day.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
You need to have the LCD replaced.....take it to a mobile service center and have them replace it for you.

Sounds like you have a broken LCD screen. Go to your carrier, they might replace the phonefor you altogether for free or at a discounted rate. If they refuse, the only way to get it up and running again is to open yourblackberry to physically replace the LCD screen. If you want somebody else to doit for you go to Blackberry Repair. If you want to do it yourself, here is a Blackberry curve Repair Guide that shows how, the part is available on Ebay.
