Question about Swintec 7040 Typewriter
The correctable film ribbon on my swintec 7040 typewriter feeds as though it were a multistrike ribbon i.e. each character overlaps the previous one on the ribbon).
I thought I rembered that you could switch the ribbon type, that is, the feed action from the keyboard using the code key and some other.
Does anyone have any information about this?
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Try code . or , or / one of these should reset the ribbon feed to full spacing

The typewriter is supposed to automatically adjust itself to the type of ribbon you have installed. Have you tried a different ribbon?
