Question about ViewSonic VA1912wb Monitor
Hi i purchased a ViewSonic Va1912wb last year. it was working fine until today morning. i was working on my pc when suddenly a green vertical line appeard on screen. it looks like a line of dead pixel. it has been there ever since it appeard. i tried connecting the monitor to another pc, the line still appears. is there a way to fix this? please help.
I see I am not the only one who is having some difficulty with the monitor, however if the monitors do have a 3 Year Warranty on it, and it would be best to get it sent in, and properly repaired. It looks great (use mine for games as well as standard usage), but remember if they put the warranty on it, then send it in and let the guys who made it fix what they didn't do right the first time.

You are right it is a stuck or dead pixel, usually if it is a colred line but not grey it is a stuck pixel at the beginning of the line you can try a utility designed to flash bright colors repetedly over time to see if this will "unstick" it. Also you could have a dry joint on your TCP which would require opening it up to diagnose.
